If your nails are anything like mine, then you know it is virtually impossible for a manicure to last. I have great news, though. ESSIE Fill the Gap Treatment is a game-changing miracle product, and I can almost guarantee that it will make your manicure stronger and last longer.
My finger nails are thin, peel prone, and polish repelling. Regular nail polish (complete with base and top coat) rarely makes it a day without beginning to chip off. I've tried nail treatments like Nailtiques. No luck. I've even resorted to eating more Jell-O because it is packed with gelatin, which is rumored to help make nails stronger. Nothing. Gels only last up to a week on me before they start peeling. Up until recently, my nails were basically a lost cause. Then, the perfect solution mozied its way into my life. Enter Essie Fill the Gap Treatment.
Here's how I use it...
1. File and buff nails to remove any peeling layers.
2. Apply Essie Fill the Gap Treatment in lieu of a base coat.
3. When the glossy treatment turns matte, which means it's dry, apply 1-2 coats of your desired polish.
4. Then, apply top coat. My favorite is CND Super Shiney High-Gloss Top Coat.
5. Give your nails time to fully dry.
The results are in, and they're looking really good...
When using Essie's treatment, my nail polish lasts about 5 days with minimal need for touch ups. I don't have to worry as much about chipping when I use my hands throughout the day. This product fortifies and smooths out my nails leaving them looking so perfect they look fake (in a good way, obviously).
I whole-heartedly back this product. I guarantee you won't be disappointed, so do yourself a favor and pick up a bottle. Then, report back in the comments below or on Twitter @DrtyBlondeAmbition.

DeleteThis is such a good idea, I normally just throw any nail varnish on and hope for the best. But more than likely, my nails chip after about 2 hours! x

You'd think nail polish would be built to last longer, right? Especially because we use our hands all the time! I hope this works for you like it did for me. I have a hunch that it will. Let me know how it goes! xx
